Dr. Tasha Inniss
Dr. Tasha Inniss
Professor of Mathematics, Trinity College, Washington D.C.

Dr. Tasha Inniss is one of the first three women ever to receive a Ph.D in mathematics from the University of Maryland. Dr. Inniss, who was raised in New Orleans, says that her love of math goes back to fourth grade when she mastered long division. Today, as a Professor of Mathematics at Trinity College, Tasha has an opportunity to offer encouragement and act as a mentor to the next generation of mathematicians. Her specialty is using math to solve real world problems in the field of aviation. She has developed statistical models to help the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) minimize the delay of airline flights.
